This eagle carving saw started by Chris' father many years ago. His dad passed away and
this carving lingered in Chris' garage. He decided to finish it and asked me to help him.
Many a Monday night we spend carving, designing, redesigning, arranging elements
and deciding what to do. What you see is the finished carving above.

Below is the finished carving with an old metal dust Chris had, applied with a varnish. It came
 out great. It's around 9 feet long.

I persuaded Chris to show it off in the New England Wood Carvers show and competition.
He won a blue ribbon. He also put a great article in the Chip Chats magazine about the
carving's journey.
